Description
1) A ruinous, stone-built complex, c.40 across, comprising a series of open areas/yards about which are ranged the remains of seven circular structures, 3.0-10m internal diameter, one of which has been adapted as a sheepfold - depicted as such on OS County series (Caernarvon. VIII.5 1889).
Set on a shelf on NE facing slopes, apparently conforming to relict field walls (Nprn308685).

2) Hut group near Pont-y-Teiryd, on the N bank of a small stream, at about 750ft above sea level on a natural shelf falling gently to the NE. The walls are faced on both sides with orthostats. the hut beneaths the modern sheepfold on a platform raised about 3ft above the level of the courtyard to the NE. Old field walls soon lost among modern enclosures extend to the W, SE and N.
