Description

System of First World War practice trenches, centered at the site grid reference but extending to the north, discovered as parchmarks in golf course during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance on 15th July 2003. Recorded from the air under drought conditions on subsquent occasions.

Lidar data at 1m resolution suggests the survival of slight surface earthworks across the complex.
