DescriptionThis former flannel mill is a small three-storey building of rubblestone, under a pitched slate roof. There is a chimney stack on the north gable, with a blocked window adjacent. The east elevation fronts onto a footpath, and the main door has windows above at each floor. An opening in the south gable, now a window, may formerly have been a door into the first floor. The building is thought to date from the late eighteenth century, and to be typical of several similar mills in the valley which have now disappeared. It was latterly converted to a shop.
