DescriptionThe Pwysty on George Street (formerly the Angel Inn) held the weighing house, or Pwysty where the weight of goods were regulated at the markets and fairs held in the town. The town scales were also kept here and this was regarded as a very important establishment when governing the regular markets. Behind the building are the remains of a late 18th century ball court (Nprn 32824).
