Description
Pont Yspytty-Ifan, probably of 18th century origin, is of rubble construction, with full-height central cutwaters to the upstream and downstream sides; the bridge has been doubled in width to the south. Segmental arches of equal size (each of roughly 8m) with roughly-dressed voussoirs slightly are recessed below archrings formed of narrow stones. There are long approaches, splayed outwards slightly at the ends, with slab-coped rubble parapets rising gently at the bridge's apex and triangular refuges over cutwaters on each side.
