Plas Newydd, Llanfair Talhaiarn, is a 2-storey, 3-unit, lateral-chimney house dating from 1585. Apart from the elliptical-headed dressed stone doorways into the passage and the two plain square chimneys, there are no external features of interest. Internally, however, the house retains a number of early timber partitions, most notably the two-door dais partition enriched with guilloche mouldings.
