A rectangular, ditched enclosure, about 42.5m NNE-SSW by 36m, set in the meadows by the Afon Taf: the site has been suggested to have been of the Roman period, but trenching produced no evidence for this, although an urn-burial has been reported from within the enclosure: the nearby farm name 'Bishopscourt' may be significant.
