DescriptionAn inland promontory, c.116m by 34m, appears to have been adapted as a defended enclosure, cut off by a bank, with a possible entrance, across its neck to the SW. There are indications of artificial scarping along the NW side, with possible traces of a bank and ditch. The site was reported as having been obscured by the remains of cottages and gardens (1925), whilst walling about the presumed perimeter is recent.
