DescriptionThis site was identified from an aerial sortie from summer of 1995. The promontory has a clearly defined ditch cropmark around the headland. Tentatively attributed to the Neolithic by T G Driver by reason of form and location.

This site is close to Mount Pleasant Farm.
Created by P D Talbot-Jones during postgraduate placement.
The enclosure is semi-circular and straddles the summit plateau of a NW/SE ridge. Its maximum diameter is approx. 129.74 metres, and it runs up hard against a steep promontory edge along the NNE side. In morphology and situation, it has much in common with the enclosure at Beech Court Farm excavated by GGAT in 2002 (SS 903765).
