An irregular, subrectagular enclosure complex, c.100m across, set within a nookon E-facing slopes at the NE end of Castle Bank.
An oval enclosure, c.40m N-S by 20m, lies centrally along the W perimeter, with an area to the NE segragatedby a curvilinear partition bank.
Floral contrast clearly delineates an area of plough-cultivation to the N & NE, which overrides the NE part of the enclosure bank (see Nprn24584).

The perimeter bank is c.5.0m across & 0.3m high, & is ditched on the SW, uphill side, presumably to facilitate drainage.
