DescriptionExtensive rectilinear field system, centered on an enclosed platform shelved into the hillslope at the grid reference. The field system extends for some 500m between the Iron Age hillfort of Caer Drewyn to the south-west (NPRN 95431) and a defended hillslope enclosure below and to the north-east (NPRN 54431). While the enclosed platform at the centre of the field system has the appearance of a medieval structure, the general character of the field system is prehistoric and it may be that this is when they originated.
