Description
1. The town clock was built on the site of the Guildhall (nprn 23282) in 1856. It was 63 feet high and was built at a cost of £1250. The tower was demolished in 1955, though the time mechanism survived and was restored by the former curator of Ceredigion Museum. It can be seen in full working order in the Terrace Road window of the museum (In the Coliseum, nprn 23271) today.

2. A replacement clock tower (nprn 406898) was built in 2000 on the same site as that of the original.
