Description18th century workings at Pencraig Ddu Lead and Silver Mines were described by Lewis Morris and are still traceable. Some work is said to have been carried out here in 1919.
Surface remains include: an open shaft and a second possible shaft; a horse-whim circle set in an area of pitting and hand dressing floors; a relict reservoir and traces of minor dams to the east and north; a level run-in to the east and an area of surface workings to the west.
