Ivy Cottage is a late 18th century, brick roughcast, 2 storey cottage, with a slate roof. The east entrance has an ogee headed recess.

The second storey windows, (3 of them) are large squares segmented into four petal shapes. The lower windows are arched. Two chimneys are visible on the pitched roof.
