Well preserved lynchets on steep hill imediately to south-west of village, with tracts of ridge and furrow surviving on less-intensively improved pasture alongside. Former continuation of lynchets to east shown by surviving earthworks at SO 1963 9524, on same line. These appear to be the same features recorded on CPAT SMR as an Iron Age trackway (PRN 5034). Recorded during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance on 19th November 2004.
