DescriptionNow converted to a church (NPRN 8552), this former tannery is a Grade II listed building. It dates to the late eighteenth century and is constructed of mortared rubble stone, with a slate roof. The building was converted to Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in the mid twentieth century, but is noted to retain some of the character of its earlier industrial history.
