Ebenezer Independent Chapel was built in 1842 and rebuilt in 1873. This later chapel was stone-built in the Sub-Classical style. The gable-entry had a giant arch over a central Venetian window, with occulus over and round-headed doorway below. Ebenezer closed in 1994 and was demolished in 1996.
