Description
Cadw SAM No.=FL066

1. A six acre univallate hillfort on the summit of a low hill, its weak defences damaged by quarrying and timber felling.

2. An irregular enclosure, formerly about 280m ENE-WSW by 92m, defined by a single degraded stone-revetted rampart, apparently ditchless, coeval with the summit area of a steep sided hill.

Rampart sectioned 1957. Apparently similar structure observed on Caergwrle Castle hill opposite (Nprn95099).
