An earlier house, traces of which remain at the rear of the building, was remodelled c.1742, resulting in a red brick three storey mansion, with projecting wings on the S, entrance facade.

5-bay, 3-storey plus basement. Entrance front flanked by 2-bay wings coming forward, plus 1-bay extension to far left. Single-pile plan-form survives with centre entrance hall opening left to staircase and rear linking corridor to right-hand wing, possibly reflecting a sub-medieval H-plan layout. Entrance hall with remarkable cut-stone chimney-piece on rear wall with the Lloyd/Trevor arms and dated panels. Panelled parlour to right of hall with kitchen approached along rear. Vaulted cellars.
