This collection comprises material relating to numerous sites, predominantly Roman forts and roads, in Wales and the Marches. It was created, and/ or collected, by Professor G. D. Barri Jones: formerly of Manchester University, and subsequently a RCAHMW Commissioner. The collection contains a preponderance of photographic material, often related to excavations and/ or aerial views.
