Hope Baptist Chapel was first built in 1902 but this building became the schoolroom when a new chapel was errected in 1906. The 1906 chapel was built in the the Later Vernacular and Lombardic/Italian style, with a long-wall entry plan and two storeys. In 2003 the congregation moved back to the original chapel and the second chapel was later demolished.
