Horeb Baptist Chapel was first built in 1874, enlarged in 1908 and demolished in 1993. The 1874 chapel was built in the Clasical style , with flat headed windows to the ground floor and round-headed openings to the first floor, all with marginal glazing, accentuated surrounds and keystones. Over the central doorway was a triple window, above which were two datestones one inscribed HOREB BAPTIST CHAPEL AD 1874 and the other ENLARGED 1908.
