Soar Baptist Chapel was built in 1832, rebuilt 1858, extended in 1875 and rebuilt again in 1902. The 1902 chapel was built in the Romanesque style of the gable-entry type. Soar closed in 1978 has since been converted for use as a Community Cultural Centre.
