DescriptionBethany Baptist Chapel was first built in 1850, being altered or rebuilt soon after in 1855. It is constructed, gable end onto the road, as a gable-entry type, and is built in the simple Round-Headed style. There is a gabled porch with a flat-headed doorway in the right elvation and late nineteenth century sash windows in the front elevation. Either side of the porch are large round-headed windows with intersecting glazing and a smaller version located centrally above the apex of the porch. The side elevations contain taller windows again, furnished with Florentine tracery.
