Description
Hephzibah Welsh Baptist Chapel was first built in 1851, and modified or rebuilt in 1875. The current building is constructed in the Sub-Classical and Simple Round-Headed style, as a gable-entry type. The central doorway is decorated by an ornate doorcase with four orders of round-headed arches within a pointed headed outline, the apex of which is topped with a finial. There is a date of 1835 inscribed over the doorway. The door is flanked by two round-headed windows, with two further round-headed windows flanking a segmentally arched window in a triple window arrangement over the door. In the apex of the gable is the inscription HEPHSIBAH ADDOLDY Y BEDTDDWYR.
