Description
Penuel Calvanistic Methodist Chapel was built in 1815 on land in King Street, Blaenavon donated by the Blaenavon Company. This chapel replaced a previous chapel, Capel-y-Graig, which had been constructed in 1798 on a different site. The chapel was rebuilt in 1885 and a schoolroom added in 1906.

The building was declared unsafe in 1967 and the final service before closure in 1968. The building was subsequently demolished.

The site is now occupied by two houses.
