Hanover Independent Chapel was built in 1744, rebuilt in 1839, a schoolroom added in 1868 and refurnished in 1893. The 1839 chapel is built in the Simple Round-Headed style with a short-wall entry plan. Hanover is now Grade 2 Listed as a very complete Non-Conformist Chapel of 1839 with interesting alterations designed by architect Edwin Foster of Abergavenny in 1893.
