Bethel Baptist Chapel was built in 1845 and rebuilt in 1875. The later chapel was designed by architect Hans Price of Weston-Super-Mare and built by M.R. Jones. it is built in the Romanesque style with a gable-entry plan, two storeys, a huge round-headed doorway and an elaborate interior. Bethel is now Grade 2 Listed.
