Carvan Independent Chapel was built in 1797, rebuilt in 1833 and renovated in 1873. The present chapel, dated 1833, was built in the Simple Round-Headed style with a long-wall entry plan. Carvan is now Grade 2 Listed as a complete early nineteenth century chapel with a virtually unaltered interior.
