Glan-Rhyd Methodist Chapel was built c.1807, rebuilt in 1870 and a vestry added in 1934. The present chapel, dated 1870, is built in the Simple Round-Headed style of the gable entry type.

By December 2015 the chapel was closed and up for sale.
