Cloddiau Methodist Chapel was built in 1876 in the Simple Round-Headed style with a gable-entry plan, red-brick walls and a slate roof. There is a plaque inscribed: "Zion/ Primitive Methodist/ Chapel/ 1876", a weather vane at the apex and a brick woodshed lean-to against the rear gable for a former wood-fired chapel boiler. Cloddiau closed in the 1980's, sold in the early 1990's and is now used as a store in the garden of a house.
