Bethel Methodist Chapel was built in 1767, rebuilt in 1820, modified in 1861 and entirely renewed in 1895. The present chapel, dated 1895, is stone built in the Simple Round-Headed style of the gable entry type. Bont is now Grade 2 Listed as a well preserved chapel displaying the comparative wealth of the local Calvinistic Methodist community at the end of the nineteenth century.
