Soar Baptist Chapel was built in 1823 and rebuilt during the late nineteenth century. The later chapel was built in the Sub-Classical style with a gable entry plan and round-headed windows. Soar closed in 1939. By 1994 the building was in use as a farm store and by 2003 had been demolished.
