Pen-y-Groes Independent Chapel was built in 1813 and rebuilt in 1859. The later chapel was built in the Simple Round-Headed style with a long-wall entry plan. The chapel has pebbledash cladding walls, a slate roof and gabled porch with wooded-boarded doors. There is a basement and adjoining house. By 2003 this chapel was in use as a store.
