Description
The first Methodist chapel in Treberfedd was built in 1835, although the present structure appears to date from the late nineteenth century. Formerly a Gothic chapel with its entrance in the gable end, it is now much altered following its conversion into flats. It is however, still prominent in the village landscape and retains its red brick walls and slate roof. The front gable has terracotta coping and kneelers. It had two end doorways in the gable and a tall centre pointed window, of which the top of the arch still remains. There is a circular window in the apex, three blocked pointed windows and buttresses in the side elevations and a lower attached rear wing.
