Bethel Baptist Chapel formerly stood at the bottom of School Bank on the southern side of the Pound. It was built in 1900 on the site of a former cess pool, but services had ceased by the beginning of the Second World War. It was used a store during the War but afterwards fell into disrepair and it was demolished in 1966. A modern bungalow now stands on the site.
