Description
The original Gerizim Chapel was built in 1840. The present chapel, dated 1888, was built on the opposite side of the road, to the design of architect Edward Jones of Newtown. The chapel is built in the Gothic Style with a gable entry plan and three bays in the buttressed long-wall elevation which faces the road. The adjoining former chapel house is under the same roof span. The fancy brick gable entry front has twin porches with flanking three light centre windows with inset "roses". By 2002 Gerizim had been converted for residential use.
