Description
Cathays Cemetery Chapel was built in 1857-59 for Cardiff New Cemetery and designed by architect R.G. Thomas of Newport in collaboration with T. Waring, the Borough Surveyor. The chapel is stone built in the Gothic style, with a long-wall entry plan and diamond glazed perpendicular windows. This chapel is now Grade 2 Listed as a striking and original Victorian chapel.
