DescriptionHen Dy Cwrdd Unitarian Chapel was built in 1747, rebuilt in 1853 and largely rebuilt again, after storm damage, in 1895. The present chapel, dated 1895, is built in the Italianate style with a gable entry plan, central doorway and round headed windows with florentine tracery glazing. The chapel has two storeys, a gallery on 3 sides and a pulpit is located to the rear. This chapel was restored during the early 1990's and the front wall was rebuilt and the fenestration slightly changed in 1996. Hen Dy Cwrdd is now Grade 2 Listed for its unusual Romanesque detailed facade.
