Bethesda (2) Independent Chapel was built in 1881 as one of two chapels in an enormous graveyard. This chapel was designed by architect Thomas Thomas of Landore. It isstone built in the Gothic style with a gable entry plan, two storeys, a large arch in the facade and flanking turrets. Alterations were made in 1920 by architect Davis Davies of Llanelli.
