St David's Church was constructed in 1902-1904, to replace an earlier church close by (NPRN 421344). The 'new' church was destroyed by fire in 1977, and was subsequently demolished. The present St David's Church (NPRN 12602) was built on the site of the old St David's School, some 60m south-west of the original building. The original site has subsequently been developed. It is now a cul-de-sac, St David's Close, and two houses now stand on the site of the church itself.
