Hirwaun Methodist Chapel was built in 1876 in the simple-round headed style of the gable entry type. This is a single storey chapel, with the pulpit situated at the rear of the chapel. A small hall/Sunday school room to rear of chapel has separate side and internal entrances. This chapel closed in 1990 and became a builder's store.
