Bethany Methodist Chapel was built in 1886 and rebuilt 1929. The later chapel was stone built in the Sub-Classical and Simple Gothic style, with a gable entry plan and tall leaded windows. In 2007 planning permission was sought to demolish the chapel and replace it with six flats and car parking spaces.
