The church was built in 1894-5 to designs of architect E.M.Bruce Vaughan of Cardiff. It is constructed of snecked, rock-faced Pennant sandstone and Bath stone dressings and comprises nave and lower chancel with bellcote over the chancel arch. The interior is a single space with arch-brace nave roof. Stained glass includes work of post-1919 date and c.1962.
