Description
St Mark's church was located on the west side of Maesycoed Road between its junctions with Seaton Street and Golygfa'r Eglwys. It was built in 1891-2 and, superficially, comprised nave and chancel with lancet windows and gabled porch on the north. The church was reported closed in 2011 after it fell into financial hardship. A planning application for its conversion to residential accommodation, involving the demolition of the hall adjacent on the west side, was submitted in 2012.
