Description
All Saint's church, Adamsdown, is located on the south-west side of Adamsdown Square, and on the north side of Windsor Road. It was originally St Elvan's church, built in 1893, re-consecrated in 1903 after the original All Saints in Tyndall Street closed in 1899 (1). It was built in lancet style to designs of Seddon and Carter. It is a simple rectangle set above a hall, its walls built of Bath, Pennant and Radyr stones in complex interplay. There is a strange western bellcote on a slab-like buttress (2).
The church was closed down in 1965 and the building since used for commercial purposes.
