The Crofter Field site at St Athan shows village earthworks extending approximately 360m east-west along a ridge representing a trackway with, laid out from its north side, a series of four house sites with associated fields extending around 80m to the north (centred on ST02126814). The is also a possible farmstead complex around 55m north-south by 44m (centred on ST01976813).
