Description
A Roman marching camp, recognised from aerial photographs in 1987. Cropmarks and a length of bank and ditch describe a round-angled quadrilateral figure, set about a north north-west to south south-east long axis, about 230m from east to west on the north and possibly 260m on the south, by at least 300m from north to south. The site is set on the summit and southern slopes of the tip of a rounded spur above the Dulas.

Further Roman marching camps are known 5.0km to the north-west at St Harmons (Nprn304958), and 10km to the west north-west at Esgair Perfedd (NPRN 261456).
