This early nineteenth century, two storey, octagonal toll house stands at the west end of Caergeiliog village on the A5 Holyhead Road (nprn 402349). The building has rough masonry walls under a slated pyramidal roof with a central chimney, and has side and rear wings. There are recessed and blank casements.
