DescriptionEvidence of C13 origins with later additions, including the C17 W bellcote, and the S porch, probably C18. The church underwent modest restoration in C19. Of gritstone construction with slate roof. Of particular exterior interest is a 5-light perpendicular E window which uses grotesque faces, probably from an alternative church, as label stops. Single arch-braced collar trussed roof to nave and chancel, mainly C15-C16. The church is significant for its exceptionally complete Rood screen and loft, in late-Gothic style.
